Pricing & Payment

Private clients

Private lifestyle support starts from $70 per hour. The exact rate is confirmed before services begin and may vary depending on the type of support, day, time and travel requirements. Any additional costs are discussed and agreed in advance, so you know exactly what to expect.

NDIS participants — 2026–27

For eligible NDIS-funded community and social support, Companion Pathways uses the current NDIS Pricing Schedule where applicable. The current national maximum prices for standard community, social and recreational support are:

NDIS

• Weekday daytime — $73.58 per hour

• Weekday evening — $81.07 per hour

• Saturday — $103.54 per hour

• Sunday — $133.50 per hour

• Public holiday — $163.46 per hour

Rates may vary depending on the type of support provided, the time and day of service, and any applicable travel requirements. All pricing and agreed charges are confirmed before support begins and are included in the participant’s Service Agreement.

Activities & outings

Participants are responsible for the cost of their own activities, admission fees, meals and drinks. Where available and accepted, a Companion Card may be used for the support worker’s admission. If a Companion Card is not accepted and a paid worker ticket is required, this will be discussed and agreed before the activity takes place.

Lisa pays for her own meals and drinks while supporting clients.

Payment

Private clients are invoiced directly. NDIS-funded services are invoiced according to the participant’s agreed funding arrangement. Any travel or additional agreed costs will be discussed before services are provided.

NDIS pricing is based on the current 2026–27 NDIS Pricing Schedule, effective from 1 July 2026, and may change if the NDIS updates its pricing guidance.

2. Agree on the details

We confirm the type of support, preferred days and times, pricing, transport arrangements and any other practical details before services begin.

3. Your first support session

The first visit is about getting comfortable, building trust and learning how you like things done. There is no pressure to have everything worked out immediately.

4. Adjust as we go

Support can be adapted as Lisa gets to know you and your routine. You can discuss changes, preferences or new goals at any time.

5. Build a regular rhythm

If ongoing support is right for you, we create a consistent arrangement that feels familiar, reliable and suited to your lifestyle.

NDIS Information

NDIS Information

Companion Pathways provides personalised one-to-one support that can be used by eligible NDIS participants where the support is appropriate to the participant’s plan and funding.

Plan-managed and self-managed participants

Participants with self-managed or plan-managed funding can generally choose either registered or unregistered providers for suitable supports. NDIA-managed funding generally requires the use of a registered NDIS provider.

NDIS Service agreements

Before regular support begins, the details of your support can be documented in a Service Agreement, including the type of support, agreed rates, payment arrangements, travel costs and how changes are managed. The NDIS recommends service agreements when starting with a new provider.
